A New Place & A Growing Boy
Wow…. it has been a while since this was updated! We have been very busy since I last did an update.
The end of May we moved from Memphis to Chattanooga. I don’t miss Memphis one bit! Yes, there are a few friends there that we miss and hope to see again but Chattanooga is a much nicer city! People are so friendly here too. Philip and I keep commenting to each other how different the people are. You would go to town in Memphis and hardly anyone would talk to you or even smile. Here people are always stopping to talk to Anthony or smiling and wishing you a good day! Our house and place is also nicer. In Memphis you could see 26 houses from our front porch, here you can only kind of see 6! We also have more yard which is very nice. I will be able to have a garden now and there is more room for Anthony to run around as he gets older. I also like being able to go outside whenever I want! We have some wonderful neighbors living next to us! They came over and talked to Anthony and me the other day. Here are a few random pictures of our house.

this is an ocean scenery I made up
Philip has started his Family Medicine rotation. For the next several weeks he is working in a doctor’s office. After that he will spend several weeks in the hospital doing Family Medicine. The doctor he is working for sound very nice. I’m just praying that all goes well for him through out his clinical years and that the Lord would make it clear what kind of doctor he should be.
Anthony is growing up! He has been crawling for over a month now! He got his first tooth through on Father’s Day! For the past month he has been pulling himself up at the table legs and couch. He is really good at walking along things now! The other day he even tried to let go and walk on his own which ended in a little bruise on his cheek. His balance is getting pretty good but not quite good enough to walk on his own. He is also really starting to chatter a lot. In the mornings when Philip leaves he waves and says bye. He also says Dada, Mama, hi and will make a few animal sounds sometimes. This past weekend he learned how to shake his head no. I can hardly believe that he will be nine months old in a few days! Time sure goes by fast. Now for the part you are all looking for….the pictures!
I love my bath and I can’t wait till this water gets done!
O yea! Finally, I’m in the water!
Dear me, Daddy is taking a picture of me getting a bath.
Funny Mama she put water on my head!
On some hot days Mama gives me a pan of water to splash in.
I’m growing up and can stand up at things all by myself!
Do I look silly?
Oh my I do look silly!
Would you please take this funny thing off my head?!
My favorite thing to do outside! I just love to swing and get all excited when Mama asks me if I want to go outside! It sure is fun to swing and feel the wind in my hair.
Pure joy….
Hope you enjoyed my pictures. See you all later!

Bethany, as always, I enjoyed reading this post! I like the way you did the captions with Anthony’s pictures!
I loved the pics! And your house!Your life is going to be so different as the wife of an up and coming Doctor from what you were used to!
Anthony is an adorable little boy…
I didnt like Memphis either,because when Michaels lived there,when he was going to school and we visited,the traffic was awful,people had a crazy way of driving,and some of the lights were so odd.[no slang intended}
Bessie, I’m so glad you like your new place!!
Lil guy is sooo adorable! And your house is nice too!
Hey Bethany, I know that this post isn’t “new”, but I am just getting on xanga for the first time in months. I loved your post, your baby is precious. I am glad that ya’ll got to move to Chatt. You know that is where Nick lived for 4 years before we were married. He loves it there. One of his best friends is there so we still visit there sometimes (not that we get that way very often). We really like it there! We are still trying to decide if we are going to move back there when we are done driving.Do you know how many years you will be there? Hope that you are having a good week! Blessing to you, Anna Ricono
@Island_of_Nuts - Anna- We are loving it here in Chattanooga. Lord willing we will be here for another year and a half at least. If Philip does his residence here we will be here even longer. Congratulations on your pregnancy! If your ever coming out this way let us know and maybe we can get together. Have a great day!
